Going to the Temple

If you don't have your endowments out you can still go to the temple. You can get a recommend to do baptisms for the dead. From what I know I believe you can get a temple recommend to do baptisms for the dead. I think during our ward temple day this month you can sigh up for a time to be a proxy for the baptisms for the dead. All temples are set up differently, some you can call and schedule to come in and do baptisms for the dead on your own, wards also do baptism for the dead trips, usually with the youth. Once you get your baptism for the dead recommend you can also talk to the ward temple coordinator and or genealogy specialist and find out if any families have names of deceased family members that need work done for them. You can also do work for your deceased family members and do the baptisms for them. I did this when I was in college.
